Mathematical Expressions

deviceWISE has a powerful expression engine that allows it to evaluate complex mathematical expressions to combine multiple data points from devices and/or enterprise applications into a single result value. deviceWISE has over 20 built in functions such as average, min, and max to accelerate application development.

Array Analysis

To accelerate analysis of data stored in arrays, deviceWISE has several functions dedicated to analyzing array data. With these functions, it is possible to quickly examine arrays of data and find the minimum, maximum, average, and standard deviations. By performing this analysis at the "edge", it is possible to summarize the data and report only the statistics from a production run instead of moving all of the raw data directly to the enterprise for the same analysis.
