ILS Technology and ASML Receive Innovation Awards
BOCA RATON, Fla. - November 9, 2009 - ILS Technology, LLC, an industry leader in enabling intelligence through connectivity, today announced that the company and a prominent ILS customer were both recognized in October with awards for technical innovation to the industry.
On October 7th at ISAexpo, the International Society of Automation (ISA) named ILS Technology as the bronze winner of its InTech Innovator's Award, in recognition for their deviceWISETM Device Gateway appliance that maps data between different devices seamlessly without requiring any configuration changes in either device. The Device Gateway helps users pick best in class hardware components and integrate them without requiring special programming.
On October 19th at the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit (EMS), in the category of Manufacturing IT, ILS Technology's customer, ASML, was the winner on their unrivalled progress and success in designing and executing an IT infrastructure covering multiple processes and disciplines, resulting in evident ROI. ASML came ahead of the other short listed candidates through the use of ILS Technology’s secureWISE eCentre remote access and secure monitoring solution. ASML reported achieving increased equipment productivity, lower operating expenses and improved quality and response times to win the award.
